- Data you provide is handled per our Privacy Policy.
- Any interactions with third parties referenced on this site are your own responsibility.
3. Disclaimers and Limitations
- Information on this site is provided as general guidance and does not constitute a guaranteed outcome for any specific site or wall.
- Crag Lab Blend's liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this site.

4. Legal Information
- These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
- Disputes will first be addressed through direct communication wherever possible.
- If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
- These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any changes.
5. Booking a visit
A stone selection walkthrough (¥2,200), a wall condition review and reinforcement plan (¥4,400) or a rockery composition and paving layout (¥3,300) is booked once we have agreed a date by email or phone. The fee shown on the relevant service page at the time of booking is the fee that applies. Travel within Nagoya and nearby parts of Aichi is included; for sites further away we will quote any travel cost before the date is confirmed.
6. Site access and safety
- You confirm that we may enter the garden on the agreed date and that any gate, dog or neighbour arrangement has been taken care of.
- A trial hole behind a retaining wall is only dug where access allows and where you have agreed to it; we backfill and tamp it before leaving.
- We may stop or postpone work if we consider a wall unsafe to stand near, if ground is waterlogged, or if weather makes measurement unreliable. A postponed visit is rebooked without extra charge.
7. Samples, drawings and plans
Stone samples left after a walkthrough remain ours and are collected after about a week; please keep them where they can be seen in natural light and tell us if any are damaged. Drawings and written plans are yours to use for your own garden, including handing them to a contractor of your choice. They may not be resold or reused for another property without asking us first.
8. Changes and cancellation
You may move or cancel a booking free of charge up to two working days before the visit. Later cancellations may be charged at half the visit fee to cover the time set aside. If we have to cancel, we will offer the next available date or a full refund of anything already paid.
9. Limits of our advice
A condition review records what can reasonably be seen and measured on the day. It is not a structural engineer's certificate, and where a wall supports a building, a road or a neighbour's land we will say so and recommend a qualified engineer before any work. Our liability for a visit is limited to the fee paid for it, except where Japanese law does not permit that limit, such as in cases of intent or gross negligence.
10. Payment
The visit fee is paid by bank transfer within seven days of receiving our written plan, or in cash on site if you prefer, and includes consumption tax. We issue a receipt for every payment. No deposit is taken for a walkthrough or a layout plan; for a wall review that needs a trial hole, we may ask you to confirm the booking in writing a week ahead so that the right tools can be arranged.
11. Work carried out by others
If a contractor builds from our drawing or plan, the construction itself is their responsibility. We are glad to answer their questions about the drawing, but we do not supervise or guarantee work we did not carry out.
